What a Romanian clinic runs on 4clinics
A practice needs three things in order: who the patient is, when they are seen, and what was recorded last time. 4clinics keeps those in one panel instead of a paper diary, a spreadsheet and a folder of printouts.
Appointments for every doctor
An appointment has a date and time, a duration, a reason, a doctor, a room and a fee that you mark as paid. It goes from scheduled to confirmed (check-in) to completed.
A warning before you double-book
If a new appointment overlaps another one with the same doctor or in the same room, the platform tells you which one, and you can still book the overlap when you mean to.
The day on one screen
The daily agenda lists today's visits by status. You press check-in when the patient arrives and complete when the visit ends.
Consultation records in free text
Write the reason, symptoms, diagnosis, recommendations and the date of the follow-up visit. The record stays linked to the patient. There is no coded diagnosis list.
Prescriptions as documents
The doctor writes the medication, dosage and instructions, then prints a sheet with a line for signature and stamp. It stays in the patient file for the next visit. It is not an electronic prescription sent to a national system.
A register of medical documents
Record lab results, imaging, referrals and medical letters against a patient, with a title, a type, a date and a link or reference. It is a register of what exists; the files themselves are not uploaded to 4clinics.
Figures for the whole clinic
Overview numbers show patients, appointments today and in the next seven days, and consultations, prescriptions and revenue this month; revenue is the sum of the fees you marked as paid. Charts show new patients, consultations and prescriptions by month, and consultations by doctor.

Set up the practice
Add your doctors, specialties and rooms in the settings and choose the currency.
Add your patients
Create a file for each patient with the contact details, allergies and any notes you want to keep.
Book the appointments
Pick the patient, the doctor, the time and the room. If the slot clashes, the platform shows you with whom.
Run the day and write it up
Check patients in, complete the visit, then write the consultation record and the prescription while the visit is fresh.
Set up for clinics in Romania
- Prices are in euro, and the plan cards on this page show the live prices; an account from Romania pays in lei at the BNR rate of the day plus 5 %.
- The 4clinics website is available in Romanian at /ro and in English here; the practice panel is available in Romanian and English, among other languages.
- Patient records are data concerning health, a special category under Article 9 of the GDPR. 4clinics is software for keeping them in order; the clinic remains the data controller and keeps the legal duties that come with it. It is not a compliance certification.
- 4clinics is not connected to the national health insurance house (CNAS), the national electronic health record (DES) or the electronic prescription system. Prescriptions and records stay inside your own account.
- 4clinics does not send reminders to patients by e-mail, SMS or WhatsApp. 4notify is a separate product of the same ecosystem and works on its own.
